I am using the animated blocks in two places on the home page. All looks great on computer and phone, but they do not show up on my old iPad in Safari or Chrome. The background is there, but not the text or images.

    Thank you.

Hello @ma3ry What version ipad and browser are you using? Animated Blocks uses CSS3 animations supported by modern browsers. These may not work properly in older devices/browsers. Please unsure you are using the latest browsers.

It is an iPad Air V12.5.5. This is the latest version I can put on it. It is good for me to know that it won’t work.

Do you have any suggestions of how I can handle this for people who have old software?

@ma3ry To my knowledge, iPad Air devices that cannot be updated beyond V12.5.5 are from 2013. This may also be an issue with the device itself and how it handles touch events.

Unfortunately there is no simple way to detect devices on your website and make changes. You can use a JavaScript device detection API. It will let you detect when a user with an older device enters the website and you can use custom CSS or JS to disable the animations.

Thank you however for bringing up this issue. I will look into implementing a fallback in the next plugin update.

I love your idea of fallback to disable animations. That would be a perfect solution.
    Thank you for your help.
