    Hello and good day.

AIO SEO says the www and non-www versions of your URL are not redirected to the same site.

I have checked wordpress and it is only using the non www version.

I have also checked google search console and there is only the non www version.

What exactly is this referring to?

    Hi @rayeason,

If you’re getting that suggestion then it means that you’ve not redirected the www version of your site to non-www, or vice versa.

You’ll need to choose either one of them (non-www or www) and redirect all the other requests. That’s because both of these versions are treated as different websites, but since the content remains the same, they will be treated as duplicate content on different addresses.

Where am I choosing to www over non www outside of Google Search Console?

Because everything is and has been setup there.

@rayeason this has to do with how your web server and DNS is set up. I would recommend asking your hosting partner for more information regarding this. In any case, this doesn’t massively affect your SEO so there’s no need to worry about it.
