What happens with cookies if i choose “close button”

    What happens to the cookies when the user clicks the “close button”? Are the cookies then active or are e.g. third-party cookies deactivated? Can I set this somewhere?

    Hi @webspatz

    When user clicks ‘Close’ button, the cookies are rejected for the current browsing session.

    The Cookie Banner will re-appear at the next browsing session again.

    btw > we are working on a feature where you can select in the CMS how the Close button will behave:
    a) As a Close button as described above
    b) As a Reject button (banner won’t re-appear again until the cookie consent expires)

    This update will be available in March.
