WordPress Team killed warp-imagick plugin? Why?

    Any idea why WordPress team did this?

    “This plugin has been closed as of January 25, 2022 and is not available for download. This closure is permanent.”

    We want this plugin back! It was free, stable, working great, and the support was excellent! The author was very interested in bugs/reported errors. He was fixing reported errors quickly.

    What happened?! I’m so sad ??

    Author does not comply with www.remarpro.com guidelines ?????♀?
    So, unfortunately, their plugins cannot be hosted here anymore.
    You will have to find another plugin as a replacement for its functionality

    Any idea why WordPress team did this?

    I am sorry, but except to say that the plugin closure is permanent that is all that will be said about that plugin.

    I am closing this topic to any new replies. The closure of any plugin is a matter between the plugin developer and the plugins team. It is never a matter of public opinion, a poll or anything else.

    Sometimes the closure message says the closure is temporary. In this instance the message is clear and says “This closure is permanent.”

    That’s all there is to it and please search for a replacement plugin if you used that one.
