• Hi,
I’ve been wrestling with this for 24 hours now and can’t seem to figure out what to do.

I archived all of my WordPress core files that were in FTP to my desktop as a full backup the other day because I wanted to move from a subdomain to my root domain.

I made the mistake of deleting the MySQL database within the {GoDaddy} Hosting Manager – and created a new one hoping I could repair it by altering the config.php file, and the options file in the new database.

I ended up just trying to retrace my steps and I’ve gotten the subdomain back up and running – but I can’t seem to get it to Re-Load all of the new design work and theme settings that I’d had (the files that I archived in the very beginning zipped on my desktop.)
But when I pull up the site – it’s the stock original theme and none of my pages or posts or custom design is showing up.

I’m on a Mac so there’s a “_MACOSX” folder being generated somehow that I’m not sure about. Otherwise – I’m at a loss…
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
