Everything was ok with the Integration process up until the last point of the process.

After I connected my client’s BM, Page, Instagram, Pixel, Catalog & Commerce Accounts and accepting everything, I pressed Continue on the final setup of Commerce Integration and then a “Something Went Wrong” Error appears.

I also tried the integration process from another Facebook Admin of our Business Manager and from their process everything look fine with green “Activated” signs however the “Return to WooCommerce Integration” button is frozen and doesn’t redirect.

I’ve reached Facebook Business Support and have been on countless calls all day long, but they confirm that it doesn’t seem to be a Facebook error and I should consult the “Facebook for WooCommerce” support team.

    Please give me some insight.

Sorry to hear about that! It looks like the Facebook connection didn’t set up correctly.

Here are a few steps you can take to fix this:

    1. Ensure that you are both the admin and owner of the Facebook assets
    2. Confirm you have 2FA enabled for the Facebook account you are using
    3. Go to https://kivotosjewelry.com/wp-admin/options.php and search for wc_facebook_external_business_id
    4. Update field to include only supported characters and save (best practice: store-name-dfsdc3lck9k6q ← 13-digit random string
    5. Go back to WooCommerce > Facebook and click “Get Started” again

Let us know how that goes!

    Hi @dsvwilson

Thanks for getting back to me!

I’ve followed your steps and (1) & (2) are correct when I use my client’s Fb account (since they’re the Owner of the assets). I followed step (3) and everything looks ok and also I just saw that [wc_facebook_for_woocommerce_is_active] is on “yes”. So I don’t really understand why this says “yes” when from the Marketing>Facebook tab it doesn’t show as connected.

Also, right after I sent you this support ticket, I saw in our (now old) Commerce Manager that our Instagram can’t connect with. (!)
When I try to connect Instagram & Commerce Manager it sends an error that says “this Instagram can’t be associated with another Commerce Manager since it already is asssociated with one Commerce Manager account”.

My best guess is that there’s something wrong with that so I contacted Facebook Support again.

Now that there’s this error as well, I deleted our Commerce & old Catalogs and installed the Facebook for WordPress plugin just to see if there’s something wrong with our BM as a whole, however the plugin connected with our Business Manager (Fb Page, Ig Account, Ad Account & Fb Pixel) just fine.

That is why I believe that there’s something wrong with the IG – Commerce Manager connection that can’t make the connection with Fb for WooCommerce plugin.

I would be glad to know your thoughts on this as well!

Thanks in advance! I’ll get back to you as soon as I’ve got news!

    Hi @pelaskouf

Please can you confirm that you are good to go?

    Hello @bayomio

As you can see from my previous reply I stated that I “installed the Facebook for WordPress plugin” but the Facebook for WooCommerce (your plugin) is still not working.

So no, we are not good to go still.

I urge you to please re-read my reply, especially the parts where I state that “I’ve followed your steps and (1) & (2) are correct when I use my client’s Fb account (since they’re the Owner of the assets). I followed step (3) and everything looks ok and also I just saw that [wc_facebook_for_woocommerce_is_active] is on “yes”. Why isn’t it showing the “Connected” message and still says “Get Started”?

I believe that we will have to see to it more. I’ll get back to you.

    Thanks in advance,
