  • I have the pro version of the plugin and have the same problem with viewing on mobile devices.
Is there a plugin update that makes it 100% responsive? Because now the galleries are practically impossible to view on a mobile device, too bad because the plugin is very good and has allowed me to create many useful galleries for my work.

    Hi,

We suggest remove display: table; from #bwg_container1_<?php echo $bwg; ?> container, which is written in the frontend/views/BWGViewSlideshow.php file. Please do it via FTP access.

    Thanks!

I’m facing the same problem regarding mobile visibility. It’s appearing bigger than the screen and now I started receiving warnings from G. Search Console about the mobile visibility issue.

I think an immediate update is required for Photo Gallery Plugin.

    Hi,

Have you tried to remove display: table; from #bwg_container1_<?php echo $bwg; ?>container, which is written in the frontend/views/BWGViewSlideshow.php file. Please do it via FTP access and let us know if it helps.

    Thanks!

I did exactly as per your suggestion; removed “display: table;” in line no. 625.
But it didn’t work. The slide show is still not Mobile responsive.

I am having the same issue and I have tried the above solution with no results.

    Has this been repaired?

I am having the same issue as well, I’ve tried the suggestion up above, didn’t work as well. With how many people are posting this exact same issue in the last few days, it looks like one of your 10 Web developers screwed something up and broke the mobile responsiveness. Any word on them getting this fixed?

I see the team Photo-Gallery plugin is very lazy; the developers’ team either doesn’t realize the urgency or they aren’t ready to take enough responsibility for their users.
I’m sure every user are facing this mobile-responsive issue. But they aren’t serious about it at all.

It’s been 10 days already since I shared my site’s details for fixing the issue immediately; every 2-3 days they send me an auto-email, mentioning “the developers’ team is working to fix this issue”, but there are no improvements till date.

Finally, I decided to remove this plugin and install a better one; I don’t have any other option, unfortunately.

    Hi,

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

The problem with responsiveness will be solved in our upcoming version.

Please kindly wait for the availability for new version and update the plugin. This will solve the issue.

    Thanks!

    Update:
The team finally fixed the issue for my website, sincerely. They took some time to fix it, so I lost my patience and posted the above message. Please, ignore the above message.

If anyone is facing mobile responsive issues for the Photo Gallery plugin, directly contact the support team and follow their instructions. They’ll solve it for your website.

After it gets fixed by the developers’ team, don’t update the plugin until they add the mobile responsive feature in the updated version.

    Hello Support,

I am having the same issue. The Slideshow galeries lost their responsiveness after the last update. I also tried the proposed solution with deletion of the line, but it didn’t work. I tried to set some width/height values from the settings, but it only hardcodes the window to a fixed size and despite being fine on desktop, the mobile version was showing way too big images.

At the end, I was forced to rollback to last stable backup, using Photo Gallery v. 1.5.86

It would be nice this problem to be fixed sooner as it’s heavily impacting a lot of pages and users.

    Thank you!

I had the same problem and was eagerly awaiting the update of the plugin, which I have just installed, but problem remains the same?

    Hello Team,

I have tried to update the plugin again on my testing environment and unfortunately on last version 1.6.2 the problem still remains.

    Thanks for your efforts!

Same here, I just updated the plug in and it is still not working properly on mobile.
