• This is very serious! any help would be appriciated! Well i was asked to updade a Stat plugin and i did. then i was asked to put a piece of code in the footer and i did that to. As soon as i added the code this message appeared

” This theme is released under creative commons licence, all links in the footer should remain intact “

i tried to login to my dashboard to reinstall the theme ( because that would solve the problem) but the same message uppears
” This theme is released under creative commons licence, all links in the footer should remain intact “

Is there something i can do ?? can i change the thim without entering my dashboard ? or if i simply remove the theme from the server. .what would the effect of that be ?

    than you

LoL, your impatient and selfish sarcasm on this volunteer-staffed support forum is hilarious.

You’ll have to access your server via FTP or SFTP and do one of two things:

    1. Download an original copy of your theme and replace your edited copy of the footer.php template with an original.

    2. Rename all theme directories except /default/ . This will force the Default theme to activate.

Next, pick a new theme from the thousands available here. None of the themes hosted here will penalize you for altering code.
