After last wordpress update I wasn’t able to sync my woocommerce products with Facebook/Instagram Shops. I keep receiving errors saying that I was missing something in my products configuration.
I also tried to create a very simple base product but nothing.
I reach out facebook assistance and they suggested that my problem was due to the fact that in my catalogues I had 5 lists, and told me to delete 4 leaving the latest. This sadly caused a reduction of my products from 318 to 44, so instead of adding one I missed more than 200. At that point they suggested to delete the last one and create a new one through a csv exported by wordpress (and gave me a mappinng).
It was uploaded but the system is still no sync and now I have zero products in my shop! Please help

    Thanks
    Juna

  • Hi @junix75

    Hope you’re doing great?

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Also, can you check if you have Facebook logs enabled? Check via Marketing > Facebook > Enable debug log.

If logs are enabled, we’d like to see them as well. You can find logs via WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

If any of the information requested is one you would rather not share on a public forum, then kindly contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

    Thanks!

    Hello Victor

thanks for getting back to after deeply checks yesterday I have realised that the errors that the facebooks lists were reporting where due to a sort of break of a previous mapping of fields between woocommerce and facebook. I have tried to import the products manually via google sheet converting alla labels and formats as per facebook guidelines.
    Now
    1) this is a painful work that I would like to automatise this as it was before, how can I do it? and why this is only happening right now? I tried to use the pixel instead but it seems “not ready”
    2) I used to have pixel caffeine but this one is not working anymore too
    3) I was trying to create a new product filling the majority of info field available in woocommerce but I get the error “Facebook for WooCommerce error:
(#100) Not a ISO 4217 currency code that is supported by Facebook Payments”
but if I try to write for example 24.90 EUR the price field doesn’t let me save is a workaround.

    Hello @junix75 ,

I understand this must have been a difficult task!

If I understand the current problem, you have deleted your catalog from Facebook in an attempt to sync all of your products. Facebook support suggested you import the products manually which is difficult as you have over 200 products on the site, right?

Instead of manual import using CSV, can you please try to sync the products directly from Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync page?

Please make sure that you are updated to the latest version of WooCommerce & Facebook for WooCommerce before attempting the manual sync.

Let us know how it goes and if you would like us to investigate further please create a ticket.

    Thank you ??

    Hello Rashed,

maybe I wasn’t clear, let me try to explain a little bit again.

The first issue arised when I have updated wordpress, after that I wasn’t anymore able to use the sync Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync page
no product was published and I was receiving hundreds of errors in the catalog/product lists

I got in touch with Facebook first and the assistance suggested to delete 4 of the 5 catalog lists (not the catalogue itself) as having multiple lists was the issue.

After deleting the 4 I lost also 4/5 of the published products in Facebook, obviously it was a wrong suggestion.

At the point they asked to delete also the last one and import the csv manually and I did it, right now most of the products are on facebook again but my problem is that the Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync page does work and I cannot upload any product from Woocommerce to Facebook automatically anymore I’m forced to use the manual csv which should be a temporary solution and not the rule.

The main issue when I try to use Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync page is that I’m missing the mapping of the categories bewteen WP and Facebook, for example in one system we have “name” in the other “title”, with the manual file I managed this but I need this to be automated, how can I do it? Without that Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync page doesn’t work

    thanks

    Juna

    Hi @junix75,

Thank you for the detailed explanation.

It sounds like there’s no connection between your site catalog and Facebook which is why the products are not being automatically synced to Facebook and the manual sync option isn’t initiating a sync.

I’d recommend deleting all existing products on Facebook and reinitiating the connection. Here are the steps to delete the products directly on Facebook: https://d.pr/i/umnA6Q

Once the deletion is complete, I recommend disconnecting the existing connection in Marketing > Facebook > Disconnect and setting up the extension afresh. Please create a new catalog when you’re setting up again.

Also, ensure you’re using the latest version (2.6.10) of the extension as a couple of fixes were rolled in the latest update.

If that doesn’t help, please share your site’s system status to help us understand your setup and help further. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it in your reply.

    Hello Ukafia,

I already did it, cancelling the catalog lists I deleted all products from facebook and instagram too.
I have also disconnected and reconnected the plugin and uploaded the system status too in the same.
The products uploaded via csv have to be cancelled through the file and not via Favebook FYI

The system status was already posted here

    Hi @junix75,

    Thank you for your response.

If I understand correctly, you’ve deleted all products from Facebook, disconnected and reconnected the extension but the issue still persists, correct?

If that’s indeed the case, I can imagine how frustrating it must be. ?? Moving forward, we’d have to investigate the issue directly on your site.

Before we proceed, I see you’re using PHP 7.3, the minimum recommended PHP version for WooCommerce is 7.4. Can you update your PHP version and increase your site’s max_execution_time and see if that helps?

If the issue persists, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.
