    Hi,

when the site is preloaded, the process generates two files for each url:
    index.html
    index.html.gz

But when the visitor loads the preloaded url, she does not get preloaded file. She gets non-cached file, generating two new files as a result:
    index-1890fe48c5c2102524efcff560d00714.html or similar
    index-1890fe48c5c2102524efcff560d00714.html.gz or similar

Why are the preloaded pages not served to visitors and what can I do to fix this?

    Thanks, great plugin!

  • @pumpaxxl Please make sure you have the permalinks set to other than default one, please try to set the permalinks to /%postname%/ and check if it helps to fix the issue?

Hi and thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunatelly, this is not the case. We always use the /%postname%/ at all our sites, including the wp-optimized ones.

@pumpaxxl Have you performed a conflict test yet?

Try deactivating all plugins except for WP-Optimize and see if it is resolved.

If so, reactivate each plugin one at a time until you find the culprit. You can check for the issue between activating each plugin, so you can see which one is causing problems.

Please let us know your findings.

Even when I turn off all the plugins (except the WP-Optimize) and switch from Divi to Twenty Twenty-Two, nothing changes, the problem still exists.

@pumpaxxl Do you have any other cache mechanism on the server, that may conflict WP-Optimize functionality?

No, there is no other caching. I have it set up on staging site. Do you want access?
