Image not uploading after moving images to sub domain

    My problem is images are not uploading or it uploads images but not showing in post or edit post section. When I tried to copy that image URL and when I try to visit that path it is not showing any images simply displaying below error:

    `Not Found

    The requested URL /Images/2010/06/twitter5.jpg was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    I’m getting this type of error after moving my images to sub domain, I followed the tutorial which is available here https://www.hellboundbloggers.com/tutorials/host-images-of-wordpress-blog-in-subdomain/

  • I am having the same issue.

    In the wordpress settings of the site, I have an option of uploading the images to a seperate sub-domain (to speed up load time). I have set this to https://images.domain.com (in SETTINGS > MISC).

    The problem is that it is still uploading to the same domain on which it’s hosted: https://dev.domain.com

    Is this a permission issue? Why won’t it write to the new domain? In the media library is shows that it ‘supposedly’ did post, but the files on the server do not reflect this address.
