User registration

Hello,

Some time ago I uninstalled the plugin because it didn’t work for me. Now I need it and I have more problems.

I uninstalled it because through the plugin there were users who could register without having to approve the account and they tried to register as admin. Now with the updated plugin I am going to test if it works well for me.

I would like that when a user registers, they receive an email to confirm the account but it does not arrive.
I would also like to receive an email as an administrator when a user registers.

In the settings menu, I have configured the account activation and new user notification emails. But they don’t arrive and users can register without the confirmation email.

How can i fix this?
