Subscriber Form doesn’t show up on pages

    I’ve recently noticed that our subscriber forms (we have 5 languages) are missing in the footer widget area of Pages. We are using inside of the footer widgets area a custom-html widget with some text and your shortcode. For unknown reasons, the form source code looks different and the form tag isn’t closed.

    For Posts everything works normal.
    As a quick workaround I’ve filtered the widget_display_callback to show the form on posts only. It’s not same nice as before, but ok.

    I wonder whether you or users can confirm my findings with the configuration below
    Mailpoet Version 3.78.0
    WordPress Version 5.9
    PHP 8.0

    The forms show up on pages without Gutenberg Query Loop. When I put a query loop on the page, the form is gone.
    I simulated it, the bug is reproducible on a test page.
    Seems that there is a conflict between the query loop block and MailPoet.

    I tested a page with a Gutenberg Query Loop and a widget with my form in a footer on my test site and it worked. However, I added my form as a Shortcode block.

    Can you please test it this way too? I wonder if some custom HTML from your widget may come into play here and stop the form from displaying.

    Hi Elvira,
    thanks for following up and for confirmation that this is an individual problem.
    I use the Russian translation for monitoring (due to low traffic). We are using Polylang, so the behaviour is for all languages the same. In the other languages the widget is deactivated for pages.
    Activities:
    I reviewed the HTML widget content, it holds only the MailPoet shortcode.
    Then I replaced the widget with the MailPoet Form 3 widget.
    I also switched the PHP back to 7.4
    The behaviour is still the same.
    Sorry for contacting you, sooner or later I’ll find out the reason for the interaction between Query Loop and MailPoet form.
    If you are interested, you can see the effect on the bottom right side:
    Homepage with Query Loop -> no form
    About Us page without Query Loop -> normal appearance of form and footer.
