Hi htmgarcia
Thank you. It’s probably not practical to list all my plugins here – I have many installed. I do realise though that it MIGHT be a conflict with another plugin.
I’m pretty sure it’s *not* related to a conflict with my theme (‘Pen’ Theme) either as the issue existed before I changed to ‘Pen’
My logic is that this PLugin USED TO work without any issues, but an update to the plugin sometime in the past caused the issue.
I have rolled-back to earlier builds as far back as your past 5 releases and the issue still persists. I’m pretty sure it didn’t exhibit this behaviour when it was known as ‘Advanced Gutenberg’ (but it’s such a while ago now, I can’t be sure).
The issue has been around for a long, long time for me (probably even before PP took ownership) – in the end, I just deactivated the plugin – but it’s a very good plugin and I miss its functionality. The problem can be reproduced on any of my PCs and is consistent. It does NOT affect the published post, just the backend/editor interface.
Hope this is helpful. I have already tried switching off other plugins – but it did not seem to make any difference. Are there any logs I can send?
The only way to get rid of the red background is to deactivate the PLugin. If I leave it activated but just disable ALL the blocks, the problem persists,
Here are some screenshots – I realise it’s not much to go on.
I am very happy to provide other data to assist you. I’m good at problem solving PC issues but am fairly new to WordPress itself. ??
