Cannot access wp-admin … and have no cpanel login …. PLEASE HELP!

  • Hi all

    Ok I have a very complex problem …

    First of all I have no idea my of my login details for my cpanel and cannot get hold of the hosting company as their number etc is dead.

    Now I dont know what I have done, but now I cannot access my wp-admin and I am trying to produce and export of this old one into my new one on another server.

    Does anyone have the know how of either retrieving my cpanel details or my wp-admin details? Or is it now hopeless??

    Any help would be appreciated.

    The error I get on wp-admin is:

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/sites/puremadonna.com/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-pclzip.php on line 2007

    Obviously I cannot login to cpanel to correct it, is there another way around this?

    Start by resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Thanks for the reply … I would follow this advice but I have no idea of the login for any of these! My hosting company who were an individual have disappeared and left my site on the server so cant contact them about it.

    I have however contacted the company whos servers they were using and they are very unwilling to help me ??

    Are you paying the webcompany or was the person who set this up paying them?

    If the missing person was paying them then … you may be SOL. If YOU are paying them, then point this out and tell them ‘I am your CLIENT. Help.’

    I was paying the person who set the hosting up .. so I guess theres nothing they can do.

    They have said they are going to forward my request via other contact details they have for the individual, so I guess I will have to sit tight and wait!

    Yeah, that’s the problem with 3rd party web hosting.

    I’m sure there’s some legal way to get the info, but it would involve lawyers ??
