Download form backend?

Hi,

I am setting up some user’s functions for a custom user role, in a very restricted back-end. Since all functions are in the back-end, I also want those users to be able to download files from the download manager directly from the list of donwloads, in the backend. Is that possibel or is that only available in a frontend page?
