I would like to modify Elements Kit modules (not just use them in the Elementor page builder) –

I know how to add a template to a page and modify its content, but I want to modify the template’s underlying html, CSS, and/or attributes in the same way that I can if I create a custom widget from scratch.

Is this possible (with either the freemium or pro version)?

  • Hello, @imincognito
I hope you are doing well!

I can understand what you are looking for. All the Templates in our Template Library are JSON formatted and even if you save the template on your machine, it will be in JSON format. So, what you are trying to achieve is currently not possible.

However, Elementskit has a Widget Builder module that will allow you to build any type of custom widget. You can build a Widget easily by following the documentation. You will find the Documentations on ElementsKit Plugin on the USEFUL LINKS section of the Plugin Details page. I hope it will help.

Let me know if there is anything else that you need help with.

    Best Regards,
    Prosenjit
