Forminator + PayPal Description

I’ve checked this plugin https://gist.github.com/wpmudev-sls/299bc833c12b842ea35c70b69515abc3 and it still uses hidden field to grab the description:

let paypal_description = $form.find( '#hidden-1' ).val();

That was changed/removed in the latest revision and replaced with a hard-coded option.

I don’t see that change in the mu-plugin that you have linked. Maybe you are checking a different script?

Thanks for the quick reply. In the same post (Possible to pass Paypal product description), The plugin you have pointed to was reported having issues with Forminator 1.14.7 so the support team suggested to use another plugin which is the one I was referring to in my first post in this thread (https://gist.github.com/wpmudev-sls/d0298dfc427dfe83493d248dfe6dd1a4). This plugin doesn’t have the option of using hidden field for parsing as description to PayPal.

Could you please try this version?

1- Download the new version https://gist.github.com/wpmudev-sls/b8ff5a66d81b44a58e5c1b1ebbfa48f5

2- Extract the file then upload to wp-content/mu-plugins folder. If that folder
doesn’t exist you can simply create it. If you are not familiar with
mu-plugins you can read more about them here : https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/using-wordpress/installing-wordpress-plugins/#installing-mu-plugins

3- go to your admin panel and set two hidden fields as Custom Value in your form.

4. Set the hidden-1 value to paypal_description. Make sure you input the same words, case sensitive.

5- set the hidden-2 value to your own description.

6- update your form. You’re done.
