litespeed + yith wishlist (cache issue)

  • Hey guys,

    I have moved to a server with litespeed. For some days everything worked kinda well, but now I noticed that the heart with the count that I have in the menu bar doesnt work well.

    When I add a product to the wishlist it instantly shows near the heart, but when I refresh the page from where I added the product to the wishlist (frontpage or product page) it doesnt show the count anymore.

    So… lets imagine I have zero products in the wishlist and from the frontpage I click the Heart on the product to add that product to the wishlist. When I do that I will see on the MENU BAR the heart getting a 1 product number near it. But when I just refresh the page (not changing to another page… just refreshing the page) I get that 1 product gone. it doest show on the MENU BAR Heart anymore.

    If I disable litespeed plugin the wishlist will work perfectly so I assume is a litespeed+yith wishlist caching issue.

    NOW

    I’v done a little research and I’v added this in Litespeed plugin backend:

    In EXCLUDE settings
    TO: Do Not Cache URIs

    /favorite/
/favorite/*
favorite/*

    *this being the wishlist page url

    TO: Do Not Cache Cookies

    yith_wcwl_session_
yith_wcwl_products
yith_wcwl_session_*

    One per line how litespeed says.

    I checked the .httaccess and the cookies are added there after I save.

    I purged all the cache using PURGE ALL option and tested again… but same issue.
    And I don’t know how to handle this anymore.

    I want litespeed, but for sure I want the Yith Wishlist too.

    I noticed this problem while logged in with administrator, but with client account too.
    For guest mode (no user logged in) I haven’t saw any issues.

    SOME LITESPEED SETTINGS (Not changed something special from the default settings. Just 2-3 things that where already in the recommanded list)

    Normally we are having problems between litespeed and our YITH WooCommerce Wishlist plugin but in the configuration it has the “Enable AJAX loading” parameter enabled?
