WPPA broken after update

This is mosy likely because of dropping the external ajax method that is not officially permitted.
Later today i will give you instructions on how to overcome this.

I tried that but unfortunately the problems remain.
The setting: Advanced settings -> System -> I -> Item 5: Ajax method
Classic (deprecated) reverts to normal.

Here’s something:
I have another site & that seems to work.
The only difference (re plugins) is that on the broken site I have an extra plugin: WP Control
Other than that they appear to be the same.

Remind me: Do I uninstall the existing WPPA plugin first & then install ver. 8.1.01.002

You can install by uploading. He will ask you if you want to replace the current installayion. Yes, you want that.

WP menu: Plugiuns -> Add New -> Upload plugin etc

No luck unfortunately. Just the same.

So, is that it? Is there no way to fix this issue?

Have now updated to Version 8.1.01.005
The problems remain.

You should try the Classic ajax method. You will need to upload wppa-ajax-front.php after every update because i am not allowed to nclude it in the release version

So, I downloaded wpp-ajax-front.php, unzipped it & uploaded it to
…/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/
I then went to Settings/Advanced settings/System/5:Ajax method
and tried ‘Classic (deprecated)’,
‘Frontend & backend
& ‘Frontend: none.
All three revert to normal after exiting Settings & the problems remain.
