No Index at homepage due to woocommerce in combination with yoast

    Hi,

    I’ve been trying to solve this problem for months now, but no success. It appears that woocommerce probably in combination with yoast is responsible for a noindex on our homepage. Ive recentyly added some products to the homepage, but also without the shop it appears only on the homepage. Not at other pages or at shopping pages.

    My hosting partner tried several solutions that were offered here, but no succes. Can anybody help a girl out?

    We’re sorry to hear that your homepage has noindex tag.

    In order to confirm if it’s Yoast SEO causing it, could you please temporarily disable the Yoast SEO plugin and check the page source?whether noindex meta is still there?

    If the issue is resolved on temporary deactivation, please reactivate the Yoast SEO plugin and edit your homepage and go to Yoast SEO Metabox. Within this meta box there’s an Advanced setting and check if Show this page in search results? option is set to Yes.

    It seems like Woocommerce is the problem now. So I hope someone from woocommerce can respond to my topic. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
