Redirection Plugin

Hello,
I installed the “Redirection” plugin as advised by Jeff Hoffman who lead a webinar on how to optimize WordPress for Google. He explained how to change the permalinks settings but he said it is best to install the Redirection plugin before to protect all the links already published on Internet.

Well I am not sure at all how to use the plugin; (Jeff advised to install and activate only) but once in the plugin it says I have no redirections of course.

How to actually check if the plugin is doing anything right now to protect the old links that had the default settings (https://lindacamurato.com/?p=123)?
