Hi, I have several products with similiar SKU, like:
    ABC
    ABC-1
    ABC-2
They are not variations, are different products, each one with its own variations.

If it helps, the same code is in the product title too.

In front end, if I search for something like “AB”, the results give all the products containing AB (correct).
If I search for “ABC”, I should see the 3 items but I only see the one that perfectly matches the SKU.

How can I force the results to show each results even if I have a match with the SKU?

    Thanks

  • Hi @maipiusenza

On my test site I searched for ‘Hoodie’ and it yielded
    – Hoodie
    – Hoodie with Logo
    – Hoodie with Zipper
    – Hoodie with Pocket

This proves that what you are witnessing is an unusual behavior.

Can you temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if that fixes the behavior?

You are welcome to test this out on a staging site using a plugin like WP Staging.

Let us know how it goes.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
