• Hello everyone,

I would like to have your opinion on a problem on which I can’t solve.

Here is the project = creation of a WordPress site on which:
-a person A create a PDF document (with a specific format) from a form
-this person A signs the document after completing it
-the PDF is sent by email to a person B for verification then counter-signature
-once the PDF is countersigned (2 signatures) it is sent to person A, person B as well as another 3rd person C (whose email address is entered in the initial form).

The goal is for this dual signature system to be automated and reproducible for other signatures.

I tested several possibilities and different extensions. The GravityForm and Gravity PDF extension allows you to create a formatted PDF document, but it is difficult to get a 2nd signature. WPesignature allows you to get two signatures on a PDF, but does not allow you to create a formatted PDF.

Have you faced this kind of problem, and do you know a solution to solve it?

Thank you very much for your feedback!

    Nicolas

  • Digital signatures, or physical signatures?
I used the Gravity PDF plugin – and just created an empty <input> box to accommodate for 2 signatures.

I’ve also done things in the past like:
By checking this box, you agree to have signed off on xyz.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

I would actually like to collect electronic signatures.
The goal is for the double signature to be done entirely on the site, and then for the signed PDF to be sent to everyone without the need to print the PDF.

    Do you have any idea?

Not really – I bailed on the idea of keeping it within WordPress.
You can use the settings in Adobe:
    https://www.adobe.com/ca/sign/all-in-one-solution.html
    https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/send-for-signature.html
and use your website / WordPress to manage and store the document.

    Thank you for your answer.

The goal is to automate the sending of the document previously created and completed from a form thanks to the email addresses and informations provided in the form. I have read the documentation of the “Basic document” and I believe that it is not possible to have a PDF with a custom format, nor that the created document can be sent to the email addresses that have been indicated in the form.

Is it possible to do this with a “Standalone” document and integration with GravityForm or NinjaForm? Or with SalesContract?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Sincerely,

    Nicolas
