    Hi!

I’ve a WordPress Multisite install. Wordfence is working fine on it, but I’m not sure if we can enable the login security Google Recaptcha on it? It needs an API key which is tried to the domain of only one of the sites? Will it work across other domains?

Hi @delanthear, thanks for getting in touch.

You should be able to add multiple domains to the same API key after logging into your Google Admin Console. Browse to the API key that you have set for your website. Once you’ve found your specific reCAPTCHA API, you’ll want to click the Settings gear icon at the top right. This will bring you to your API settings where you can grab your reCAPTCHA keys and add additional domains to the allowlist.

On the Settings screen you should see a list of domains in an allowlist with an input box to enter additional domains. There should be a plus sign next to this input box. Enter your domain and click the plus sign. Afterwards, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue “Save” button. This will tell Google to apply your changes and may take up to 5 minutes to be put into place.

You may need to contact Google support if you have any issues with this, but the steps above ensure one API key can be used across multiple domains and should allow you to use reCAPTCHA in the way you wish to.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
