When you point you curser to a link, the arrow changes to a pointer. Is there a way to make the arrow turn to a pointer without the <a href=""> command?

    Thanks….

You can modify the cursor but it needs a trigger. This kind of hack needs to be searched on the net, not here. Search Google for “css change pointer hover mouseover” but you will probably find that you need some kind of trigger, like a href link (hyperlink) to trigger it through the a:hover css feature.

What you are doing is wanting to change the way your page interacts with the browser by changing the browser defaults. Consider this very wisely before proceeding because each different browser (MSIE, Firefox, Opera, etc.) may interpret your desires differently and cause more problems than its worth. But it can be done.
