    Hi

I have a site where I use this plugin as well as publishpress, publishpress revision and PublishPress Capabilities
Everything worked perfect on version 3.6.5
Since version 3.6.6, in the permission blocks when creating a new article I have the message “XXX permissions have not been added or blocked for any User.” and when I try to add a user, it appears in the list on the left, but when I click on select, it disappears from the list but does not appear on the right. Are you aware of this problem?`

@cochii Yes, we applied some new input sanitizations throughout the plugin to tighten security. One of those changes is blocking legitimate Permissions changes from being submitted through the Permissions metaboxes in the editor. I’ll try to release an update for this soon.

For now, you can work around it by adding or removing the permissions through the Edit Group Permissions / Edit User Permisions screen instead:

    • Group permission: Go to Permissions > Groups.
    • User permission: Find user on the Users screen, click into Roles cell

Once on the Edit Permissions screen, select the desired parameters (including Article) on the Set Specific Permissions. Click “Add Selected” then “Save Permissions”.

@cochii PublishPress Permissions 3.6.8 resolves the Permissions update failure in the post editor.
