Subscribe to blog confirmation email

    Hi
    I’m testing Jetpack to offer a subscribe to blog feature. My site is self-hosted.
    The confirmation emails are being sent by wordpress.com, is there any way to change that and have the message sent from my blog’s email?

    Related question — is it possible to have people include their first name+name to subscribe and not just their email address?

    Hi @waimanalo –

    The Jetpack Subscription feature is powered by WordPress.com, so the emails are sent by the WordPress.com servers. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to change that.

    Additionally, we only allow users to subscribe using their email address, we don’t accept additional fields such as names.
