When working with the Subscription Plugin, and if a User has Multiple Subscriptions it will become very difficult to handel Orers and Shipping.

The Main Problem ist, that we now Have possibly Multiple orders from the Same Client. But since we are shipping on a fixed date, the optimal Solution would be to Merge those orders before going in the Fullfilment process.

But we need a solution that “automerges” all those orders…as a general rule for a Bullk-Button would be like:
“Merge all orders from the Same Customer in the Status “Processing” (into One Oder)
    Is that possible ?

There may some other Issues Related with this, maybe:
    – Since those orders are already “payed” , we already have our 2x shipping, but we are now packing only one package (Solution would be to manually remove all uneccessary shipping costs from Customers with more than one Subscription – leaving one Subscription with Shipping)

@pogotime you can turn ON auto combine and select order status as per your requirement under Automation tab. Then select Combine by same customer user under Rules section.

It will combine orders with selected status by the same user.

There are three options for the shipping on general settings tab, No Shipping, Combine Shipping and Separate Shipping. You can try these options in your case.

Please let us know if any of these option are helpful or not for your scenario.

    hi @jamescharles9

It tested it with 2 Running Subscriptions that are fireing 2 Orders in the Renewal Process

The “Combine Function” in the Order View seems not to be working for those Orders
And the Automation is Behind Premium, so curently I cant test this either =)

@pogotime we appreciate that you shared your requirements with us on support forum. I will try to elaborate what you have said, might it will help the development team to accomplish what you need.

So you have multiple orders from the same client and you need them to be combined till their in a specific order status. Actually it is possible in both ways, either you analyze through settings page or you use automation tab. But as you said, these are behind the premium wall so I would like to explain here, manual combining feature is available in FREE version and further analysis based or automation based merge functionality is available in Advanced version only.
