Keeping waylaid blog visitors happy with contextual search results

  • Just in case anyone finds it helpful, I’ve put together a how-to on replacing the somewhat dastardly default WordPress search results, with an easy-to-skim, contextual search result listing.

    It’ll stop blog visitors from giving up and going away, and will instead help them find what they’re looking for.

    It requires creating or adapting a new template file in the theme, the work of just a minute or two.
