Hi, my Instagram feed token keep expiring after 60-90 days. I did a bit of research and I can see there’s something called a long-lived token. Is it possible to set this up with your plugin, and do you have any documentation / instructions for this?

    Hi @macpheek,

Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. In this case, you would want to connect your account as a Business Profile as this type of connection has the most stable connection. We have a guide on setting this up here: https://smashballoon.com/doc/instagram-business-profiles/?instagram

With a Personal account connection, it should be automatically renewed, but the business profile connection would be the best option. The only connection that would normally expire every 60 days is a Personal connection to a private profile – those have to be manually reconnected and do not have a long-lived token.

If you have any trouble setting up a Business Profile or continue to see issues with access tokens, please send us a support request here and we’ll be happy to assist further with this.

    Best regards,

    Louis
