Magnific popup doesn’t work with webp

I have an issue with webp images. Magnific popup doesn’t work with this type of media. Basically, when I click on the webp image, it just open it as a new page.

I\ve tried to disable all my plugins – didn’t help.

Jpeg, png etc – works perfectly. Please, advise how to fix that
