• It was easy to clone/stage my site and be worry free about screwing something up. In fact, what I first did in my staging site was to click “update all” plug-ins, about 17 at the time. Guess what happened? My site broke, but just the staged one. So that let me know it really was worth the time to update each plug-in one by one in the live site, until I found the culprit. Once I found the offending plug-in, it was easy to fix the problem, but had I updated all plug-ins on the live site, I would’ve had no idea which one was the problem and would likely have to restore from a back-up. Restoring from back-ups (of any kind, PC, sites, phones, etc) always make me a bit nervous, so WP-Staging provides peace of mind!
