Disallow certain users or groups from subscribing to a topic

Hi – this is a feature request to disallow (create a blacklist) of users and perhaps groups who cannot subscribe to comments on a post.
Perhaps the subscribe option could not be visible at all for users in this list?

The reason I ask for this is I have users in my site who mistakenly subscribe to busy comment sections and then are surprised by the amount of notification emails they get! I also have users who abuse the local email server & StCR by subscribing to every single post and (rather strangely) use this (emails) to keep up to date with a thread. It’s not a massive priority for me but I wonder if others may find it useful for different reasons?
