I’m using Envira Gallery on my WordPress Site. I added a gallery and tried to upload 300 images. It got about 3/4 of the way through and now I get:

    Background Request Blocked

Wordfence Firewall blocked a background request to WordPress for the URL https://www.genesisweddings.com/wp/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. If this occurred as a result of an intentional action, you may consider allowlisting the request to allow it in the future.

I click the button to allow it, and then I get the same error again, once for each image I’m trying to upload after the error started. It seems like the allowlist function is not working.

Update: After reviewing the PHP error log, I discovered the disk space filled up on the account. I expanded that and I stopped getting the error. Still seems like a really confusing message to get in that situation.

It’s possible the initial block was real, but when trying to allowlist it, the firewall configuration couldn’t be written to due to a lack of disk space, so the allowlisting didn’t get saved.
