Mobile Accessibility Unclear
-
I just launched my site a few days ago and have been working on setting up various Google tools since. Google Search Console alerted me that my site has these accessibility issues for mobile devices:
– Text too small to read
– Clickable elements too close together
– Content wider than screenI checked the site with the Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test tool, and here’s the screenshot it produces: https://snipboard.io/042p68.jpg
It looks terrible! : ) I think I can see all three of the issues mentioned on this page.Meanwhile, when I use the WordPress Customizer on mobile view, everything looks fine: https://snipboard.io/Z4shWt.jpg
I don’t have a cellphone, so I can’t check how it actually looks on a device. A friend tested it a few days ago and mentioned that it looked fine.
At this point I’m wondering whether there actually is an issue (possibly only on certain types of devices?). If so, how might I fix it, since what I see on WordPress is different from the Google report? If not, how can I get Google to see what real mobile users are seeing so it doesn’t flag my site as inaccessible?
