    Hi Team,

    I have two servers, both of them are blocked from accessing google site kit domain. It used to work correctly, but today suddenly stopped.

    Here is the curl command response

    $ curl -I https://sitekit.withgoogle.com
    HTTP/2 403
    content-type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
    referrer-policy: no-referrer
    content-length: 1579
    alt-svc: h3=":443"; ma=2592000,h3-29=":443"; ma=2592000,h3-Q050=":443"; ma=2592000,h3-Q046=":443"; ma=2592000,h3-Q043=":443"; ma=2592000,quic=":443"; ma=2592000; v="46,43"

    however, a telnet request to the host/443 works fine

    $ telnet sitekit.withgoogle.com 443
    Trying 2a00:1450:4001:827::2011...
    Connected to sitekit.withgoogle.com.
    Escape character is '^]'.

    so clearly I don’t have any connection issue to the server .. it is for some reason blocked from your side

    what could be the reason that my servers get blocked?

    Thanks for you help and support

    Hello @voodito and thanks for opening a topic. I can see that you are active on the GitHub issue for this.

    It would be useful to get Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.

    Would you also be able to provide a screen recording of this experience, showing the error message before proceeding with Site Kit setup. During the process please keep your browser console errors screen open so we can check any errors reported during the process.

    You can use a service such as Loom, RecordIt or any other service to record your screen, while using the same form as above used to provide a link to the recording.

    @voodito thanks for your patience throughout this. We have now confirmed that this is an issue for sites on the Frankfurt region Linode servers and are continuing to investigate. We will share another update as soon as we have more information.

    Thanks @adamdunnage for the updates .. I already submitted the form and will wait for any further updates

    Thank you, @voodito. We’re still working on a fix here and will update as soon as we have more info.

    @voodito Thank you again for your patience here. As Adam noted, we’ve identified that this connection issue is occurring for sites hosted on Linode’s Frankfurt region servers. These servers are sending some incorrect information that is leading to Google blocking their attempts to connect.

    Unfortunately, this isn’t something that can be fixed directly in Site Kit, so we’re working with the appropriate parties to get things resolved. I don’t yet have a timeline for when a fix will be ready, but we’ll be sure to update here as soon as we have a better idea of timing for a fix.

    Hi @shetheliving thank you guys for your updates, I have checked linode’s support forums, and they already have found that assigning a dedicated IPv6 /64 range solves the issue

    I followed the steps mentioned on these posts and now everything works fine again!
