    I believe there is a problem with the “ask seller a question” function of the marketplace.

    1. A potential customer wants to make an enquiry. They click ‘ask seller a question’ and they write their question and also write their email contact address.

    2. The admin and the vendor receive a notification that there is a new enquiry about their product.

    3. The vendor logs in and they can SEE the potential customer’s email address in their dashboard. This enables the vendor to then go off the platform and make direct offline contact with the potential customer and thus avoid the site’s commission for a sale (market leakage).

    4. Not only does the vendor see the email of the potential customer in their dashboard, but when they reply to the question, the potential customer does not receive the answer to their email. The answer to the enquiry is posted on their dashboard only for the admin and the vendor to see.

    I tested it with various emails and using my own shop on the marketplace and this is how it functions.

    Can you please tell me how it’s possible that the vendor will NOT see the potential customer’s email in their dashboard?

    Can you also explain why the potential customer doesn’t receive the vendor’s reply to their email?
