Stars appear as “S” when added using gutenberg block

we switched to a basic wordpress theme and it showed the star rating correctly. We found a way around it though. The theme we are using for our website has a block for testimonials viewable on wp bakery page builder. We are inserting manually their satisfied opinions left using Customer Reviews for WooCommerce plugin
