product sitemap redirects to index

    Hi,
    On my site, the product site map redirects to the index sitemap
    Can you please help with it?

    Click on the /product-sitemap.xml link. you’ll see it 301 redirects.

    I’ve deactivated every other plugin except woo-commerce and toast and changed to the wp default theme.

    Hi @dtycfx

    Upon checking the /product-sitemap.xml it looks like there’s a redirect to /sitemap.xml and then the Yoast SEO plugin redirects it to /sitemap_index.xml.

    You may have to check if you have a server redirect setup that is causing the initial redirect from the product sitemap to the /sitemap.xml URL, since you’ve mentioned that you’ve deactivated all plugins except for Yoast SEO and WooCommerce and have used a default WP theme, which should rule out a conflict from another plugin or theme that could be causing this.
