    Hi

    When I do the following:
    – add a plugin
    – modify admin menu
    – delete plugin

    I get the following result:
Admin menu no longer displays the menu item, which is generally a good thing.

But, if I restore the plugin, the admin menu automatically restores the menu item, which is also a good thing, but…that tells me that the menu item(s) are retained by Admin Menu Editor.

Is there any way to view obsolete/deleted plugin menu items in Admin Menu Editor? I guess the thinking is that I don’t want a lot of garbage entries when I use Admin Menu Editor as a template for all future websites.

    Thx

In general, admin menu settings that are associated with uninstalled/deactivated plugins are only retained until the next time that you edit the admin menu. So if you want to clean up the configuration, just go to the menu editor and click “Save Changes”.
