Place Bid button not working properly?

    Hi there,

    I was wondering if this can be solved…
    After installing the plugin, creating a “fake product” in which I’m trying to sell a friend of mine, all went as expected up to that part.
    After that, I of course wanted to test the bidding as I am the webdesigner. No matter how much I try, there will be no bids registered which frustrates me.

    What I’ve tried sofar:
    – kept the product “private” or “public” and tried that, same deal.
    – logged in as non-admin, same deal.
    – ran tests looking for errors, none found, same deal.
    – got my rear end kicked to a pulp by the site owner while trying another theme to test if that was the issue: still can’t sit, same deal.

    Created a short YouTube video showing the plugin at work, backend and frontend.

    The theme is: Awaken (trust me, I have woken up)

    What can I try?
    Hoping this is a relatively easy fix!

    1) We have checked the bidding functionality of Ultimate Auction for Woocommerce plugin with Awaken theme. It is working properly. There is no issue in it.

    2) According to your query, bidding functionality is not working on your site. We need to test this query on your site. Please create a test auction product on your site and share it’s URL. We will check it and let you know.

    3) Your wordpress site has many plugins installed, it might be possible that due to some css/javascript conflict on your site, this error is happening. Could you please share WooCommerce System Report? It can be found – WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Get System Report. We will check it and let you know.

    Well, sadly enough, I was told to no longer make use of Ultimate Auction, because there was another issue that popped up. Product listings for other admins

    and it pissed ‘m off thoroughly… So I had to remove it, and write my own version from scratch…

    Hi @bramvanmunster ,

    The plugin that you have mentioned in your last reply is “Ultimate WordPress Auction plugin” (a non woocommerce auction plugin) and we had earlier tested everything with “Ultimate WooCommerce Auction Plugin“. It seems that we were not in sync. But none the less, since you are using your own custom code so it wont matter. Our apologies if we had not been explicit in addressing your issues.
