I don’t believe you documentation here applies any longer. That is showing a textarea named ‘woocommerce_afterpay_product-pages-info-text’ in previous version of plugin. Now that box is named ‘woocommerce_afterpay_product-pages-placement-attributes’ and is not being used in callback for [afterpay_paragraph] as specified. There’s just a bunch of attributes in that box. When I used that shortcode to customize text on our product pages I get “available for orders between $1 – $2,000″ – where that’s coming from is anybody’s guess. I would like to plug in ‘Or make 4 payments [OF_OR_FROM] [AMOUNT] with [afterpay_product_logo theme=”white”]’, have that show on product pages and call it a day.

Hello? Is anyone monitoring this support forum?

    Hi @toolbeltscharlie,

    Thanks for your message.

The change from a text editor to the placement attributes is intended to improve consistency and ensure compliance. The message – “available for orders between $1 – $2,000” – indicates that the product is outside of the Afterpay order limits, or it is a variable product with a price range. In the latter case, the message will be improved to read “as low as $xx” in the next release, which has been postponed to January 2022 due to the code freeze period of the holiday season. The online documentation will be updated as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

Hi thanks @afterpayit. Would you be able to address my original inquiry? Please see above. I would like to include the text “Make 4 payments [OF_OR_FROM] [AMOUNT] with Afterpay.” on product pages.

    Hi @toolbeltscharlie,

    Thanks for your message.

Please copy and paste the following attribute sets into the ‘woocommerce_afterpay_product-pages-placement-attributes’ box. They seem to be the closest it could get to meet the requirements above. Alternatively, please explore all other available options here.

    data-intro-text="Make"
    data-show-interest-free="false"
    data-logo-type="lockup"
    data-lockup-theme="white"
    data-modal-theme="white"

    Thank you.

hi @afterpayit thanks for your reply. Sorry but that does not remotely come close to addressing my inquiry. If you can make a good faith effort to help me resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hi @toolbeltscharlie,

    Thanks for your message.

To continue to use the rich text editor, please roll back the Afterpay plugin to v3.2.3, which is available for download here. Alternatively, please wait for the 2022 January release, where the instalment message for variable products will be improved to read “or 4 payments as low as $x.xx with Afterpay”.

    Thank you.

    Hi @afterpayit.

Ok I understand a little better now that you mentioned “or 4 payments as low as $x.xx with Afterpay” as opposed to your original reply when you mentioned, more concisely, “as low as $xx”… while you were referring to the messaging “available for orders between $1 – $2,000”… so that was super confusing.

So it sounds like, even if you had a solution to share you wouldn’t because of compliance-related issues, which i understand. There’s certainly nothing I can do but wait til January. There are all of 2 hooks in the entire plugin, the Afterpay blocks are basically cordoned off behind web components and worst of all, no mention of this in the change logs.

On a personal note, Happy Holidays and stay safe!
