I’ve successfully used Photozoom 1.0.8 since building my site in 2019. It is a static site that hasn’t changed.

I just tried to update to 1.1.2 and the background colours on the header and footer changed to black, the text colour changed from white to a lurid green and the header reformatted so the menu was on two lines. The “Customize” panels gave no clues about what went wrong. I had to roll back to the old version – which still looks fine. Should I just stay on 1.0.8?

    What do you recommend?

    Hello,

The most recent update of the theme includes a more consistent customization experience, with some of the colors being reused in multiple locations.
I recommend updating and then taking a look again in the Customize > Colors panel.
Everything that could be done in 1.0.8 can also be done in the current version.
As for your menu, the width of the logo was increased by a tiny bit.
As your menu length is at its limit, this causes it to be displayed in two lines.
For this exact reason the theme allows you to have a centered header (Customize > Theme Settings > Header Layout).

P.S. You should probably update WordPress as well.
