  • Hi @scottrobins

… the user would not be buying on our website it would just display a product and re direct the buyer to the shops main website…

In that case you don’t require WooCommerce at all. You can have a non-ecommerce site wherein redirects and hyperlinks can be used as required.

The loading of products can be done on the “main website” as you mentioned.

Please correct me if I didn’t understand your requirement properly.

    Hi Margaret

Yes you are correct, we don’t need WooCommerce for the buying side of it, but WooCommerce is very powerful and has lots of other features that would be good. There are also woocommerce filter plugins which would be useful. If there is another plugin more suited that you know of please let me know.

    Many thanks

It sounds like you’re trying to use WooCommerce to point to products that are external to the site.

If that’s the case, WooCommerce allows you to create External/Affiliate products that fit the bill.

You can learn more about this here – https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/#adding-an-external-affiliate-product

    I hope this helps.
