• You have the keep the browser tab open for 3 hours for it to finish auditing. Close the browser tab and it stops auditing.

    Background audit speed depends on your CRON jobs settings in WordPress, this is actually not a problem on the plugin side. If you use WP-Cron then the audit runs only if some user visited the website, the CRON jobs basically fire when someone loads pages on your site. So, if the site has little traffic, there is no guarantee that the audit will be performed. That’s how WP-Cron works. To make sure that audit continues in the background, we recommend switching from WP-cron to native system cron. Here’s an article on how to do this.
