Zero length excerpt: is it possible?

I need the posts to have the title and a “read more” button, but no text. As far as I can understand, it’s possible to add a “read more” button with
include_excerpt="true" include_excerpt_dash="false" excerpt_more_link="true" excerpt_more="read more", but it’s not possible to remove the text part of the excerpt by setting excerpt_length="0". Is changing the plugin code my only option to achieve what I want? Maybe I’m missing something and there’s an option for this?
