    After updating to Woocommerce & WP to the latest version. I am facing some challenge on Woocommerce’s setting in the dashboard. Whenever I select the WC’s Setting, it take a while for the WC’s setting to response – at least about 2 min or less & that apply to when i save the setting. I don’t have that challenge on the other WC’s i.e. order, products, etc. Any idea what cause it?

  • Hello,

    Since the issue started after updating, you’ll first want to do a full conflict test to determine if the issue is coming from a plugin/theme conflict.

    To determine what’s causing the issue, please temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then re-enable plugins one-by-one until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

    Hi Maykato,

    Thankyou your reply. BTW, i am using Oceanwp Theme in which i have yet to update to the newest version. I will update to new version Oceanwp Theme, whether that cause the issue on challenge above & will feedback.

    Thank you for your valuable advice on the above.

    Hi all,

    I have updated OceanWP Theme & OceanWp to the latest version, the issue is there. Meanwhile, also deactivated all plugins & activated one by one. Tested but it still doesn’t solve the issue. And it only happen on Woocommerce’s setting, the rest of it response normal.

    Not sure, what have cause it.

    Hi @kt77,

    Thanks for the update!

    Aside from deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce, have you also switched to the default Storefront theme, as earlier advised? Can you let me know if it’s working with just WordPress, WooCommerce and the default theme?

    If you need help with the steps to perform a full conflict test see this guide:

    Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Mirko,

    Apologized for the late reply. I have tested almost everything but the issues is still there. But i also notice in the log file showed the following; Not sure what is this all about.

    `2021-11-13T02:20:02+00:00 ERROR Error getting remote inbox notification data feed
    2021-11-13T02:20:02+00:00 ERROR WP_Error Object

    (
    [0] => cURL error 35: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to woocommerce.com:443

    )

    [error_data] => Array
    (
    )</strong>

    [additional_data:protected] => Array

    )`

    @kt77

    cURL error number 35 has to do with an outdated cURL version.

    In these cases, we recommend reaching out to your hosting company for a solution.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi All,

    Regard to the above issue “After updating to Woocommerce & WP to the latest version. I am facing some challenge on Woocommerce’s setting in the dashboard. I have found the culprit that cause the WC’s setting to response slow, the culprit is Chrome Browser (lastest version > security update on the Chrome). When I switch to Safari, it work fine. Any solution to resolve it?

    @kt77

    Since this is a browser issue, we may not be able to do much about it since the lag is happening because of browser updates.

    On the other hand, could you try the incognito browser mode?

    Also, see this guide: https://onlinemediamasters.com/slow-woocommerce-admin-panel/#:~:text=Is%20your%20WooCommerce%20admin%20panel,plugin%20isn’t%20configured%20optimally.
