Adding new images to an existing gallery

  • I have several galleries already created and I will need to periodically update them with new images. When I go into ‘Select Images’ to choose new images from the media library, any new images I add will always overwrite the images currently in there. Is there any way I can add new images to a gallery without it removing all other images, or having to select all the images again? The way it is currently working seems like a really weird way to do things. I can’t be the only person who has had this problem?

    I have the same problem with my galleries.

    What I could notice is that if I scroll down in Add new images until I get to the older images in the gallery, then those are displayed as well.

    But I have thousands of images in the media library and this is not a solution for me.

    No, I’ve not found a solution yet. I also noticed that if you scroll down the old images are still ticked, but to ensure they aren’t removed, you have to untick and retick them again. Like you, I have hundreds of images and this is not a long-term feasible solution. I’ll be switching to another plugin if I can’t find a solution.

    I’m not seeing recent replies from the developer. Has @dfactory stopped supporting this plugin?
