Hello all – first time poster, appreciate any help I can get. I recently took over managing our website, and I am a WordPress newby. Figured out how to make some basic edits, but there is one thing I want to do that is eluding me:

We have a button in the top right of our website called “Investor Login”. I want to update the URL that it routes people to. For some reason I can not find that button anywhere in our WordPress admin. I can find all the other menu buttons except that one. Does anyone have any tips for where this might be hiding that I have not looked? I figured I would find it in header/menus but no luck?

Thanks in advance for your help,
    Justin

    Hi Justin,
I think you can find it somewhere under Appearance->Widgets because by inspecting through chrome inspector tool it seems like its using widgets instead. So, just check if you can find it there.
    Thanks,
    Swayam

    A few suggestions:

-Do you have a way to get in contact with the person who set up the website originally?Maybe the buttons are hardcoded into a template used for the header area display.

-Do you have access to the files of your active theme in your webhosting account (maybe bluehost?) to look inside header.php?

@contentiskey I think yes to both your questions, I’ll explore those two avenues and see where that gets me. Thank you!
